Sustainability &
Framework Strategy

Our sustainability strategy ensures that, from the
source of materials through processing and
during use and performance, our products are
truly sustainable for the enjoyment our customers
globally.

Sustainable
Source

Sustainable Sourcing and Procurement Policy
OAK sources and procures legal and sustainably certified timber from responsibly managed forests.
Sustainable Forest Partnership Program (SFPP)
OAK launched the SFPP to improve transparency and promote best practices in sustainable forest management within our supply chain.

The SFPP will lead to better land use, including increased conservation and sustainable forest management, reduced GHG emissions, improved community livelihoods and gender inclusivity.

The material for products are sourced from legally certified and sustainably managed forests to ensure responsible supply chain.

Our products are processed with a conscientious approach to minimizing waste, lowering emissions and prioritizing safe and inclusive work environment.

Sustainable
Manufacturing

Resource Efficiency
OAK’s manufacturing process maximizes material utilization by leveraging efficient technology, implements energy-saving measures, and increases mix of renewable sources of fuel for energy.
GHG Emissions Management
OAK quantifies and monitors its scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and is in the process of identifying emission reduction targets and programs.
Occupational Health and Safety

Environmental Management

We are committed to the protection of the natural environment by enabling a responsible supply chain and to improve the livelihoods of our people and local communities is at the forefront of our operations.

Promoting sustainable forest management
OAK source its material from natural forest concessions that adopt and implement best practices in Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) and Reduced Impact Logging (RIL), to selectively harvest timber without deforestation and minimizing environmental impacts.
Prioritizing forest and biodiversity conservation
Through the SFPP, OAK is supporting partner suppliers to identify high conservation values, (HCV) areas for protection and management. HCV adaptive management will include set-aside areas for conservation and areas managed using RIL under a precautionary approach.
Resource efficiency
OAK’s processes optimize material utilization by leveraging efficient technology, implementing energy-saving measures and increasing the use of renewable energy.
Water use management
OAK’s manufacturing facility sources river water and treat the water after processing.
Chemical waste management
OAK’s manufacturing facility treats any hazardous chemicals used in processing.
GHG emission management
OAK quantifies and monitors its scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and is in the process of identifying emission reduction targets and programs.
